John LeslieMOSESPassed away peacefully at home in Whitchurch, Tavistock on 1st March aged 89 years.
Much loved husband of Gill and dearly loved father of David and Jane.
Funeral Monday 23rd March, service at St. Andrew's Church, Whitchurch at 2:00pm following which John will be buried in the churchyard.

Deepest condolences to the family. I remember “Mr Moses” at Tavistock Comprehensive and his influence from organising the school cruises! I would never have gone abroad with my family and this gave me a fantastic opportunity to broaden my horizons and gain invaluable life experiences all down to Mr Moses! He then went onto becoming friends with my parents, the Bakers of Boyton Farm and I was also friends with Jane at primary school too. My husband Chris became his plumber and enjoyed working for them. All in all a wonderful human being that is very rare these days.
